The Scrabble Challenge uses the OWL2 dictionary. This is the official dictionary for tournament play in the US and Canada. It is available for ordering to National Scrabble Association members through their website.
The OWL2 is based on the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary (OSPD) which can be bought in stores, but there are a few differences:
Please note: A separate dictionary, Official Scrabble Words (OSW), is used for European tournament play. There are a number of differences between the OSW and the North American dictionary. I use the North American dictionary: OSW-only words like "ch" will not play. Kevin's Scrabble Challenge is the place for that. (Note, however, that "qi" is now part of the North American word list as of the latest revision.)
For more information on the various dictionaries, read the Scrabble FAQ.
